Undergraduate College Location / Size Preprofessional work may be completed at any accredited two- and four-year institution. Generally, students complete three or more years of preprofessional work before admission to a veterinary medical college. It is not necessary for students to complete preprofessional work in the same state as their veterinary college of choice. Choose a preprofessional college that best suits you. The size of the undergraduate institution you attend is relatively inconsequential, as long as it provides the opportunity to pursue an appropriate course of study. If you are comfortable with your surroundings, you are more likely to do well in your studies. |
