Tony Wynne

Tony Wynne joined the AAVMC in 2008 as VMCAS Operations Coordinator and currently serves as Director of Admissions & Recruitment Affairs. In that role, he serves as director of the Veterinary Medical College Application Service, editor of Veterinary Medical School Admissions Requirements, and project lead on initiatives involving pre-vet/pre-health advisor development, veterinary school admissions and recruitment, and pre-veterinary student development. He also serves as the AAVMC Technology Analyst involved in strategic planning for technology and data analysis.

Previously, he worked as Admissions Coordinator at DeVry University’s Crystal City campus and with Sunrise Senior Living, where he implemented a Project Management Office (PMO) for their technology department.

Tony earned a BS degree in Business Administration with a minor in project management and a concentration in business technology from DeVry University.

Tony is proud to have served on the Board of Directors of the Lesbian & Gay Veterinary Medical Association (LGVMA), currently serves on the Advisory Council to the National Association of Advisors to the Health Professions (NAAHP), and works closely with the American Pre-Veterinary Medical Association (APVMA).

In his personal time, Tony is the Producing Artistic Director of Skyward Productions, and can be found behind his piano writing and arranging music, designing and managing websites or producing independent film and theater in the Washington, D.C. area.
