Veterinary Medical Incomes

The starting salaries of graduating veterinarians and veterinary medical salaries in general have been increasing at a rate greater than inflation, except for a slight dip in 2011. The following charts provide an overview of how veterinary medical salaries can vary, specifically broken down by the mean professional incomes of private practice veterinarians, public/corporate veterinarians, private practice incomes by specialty, and professional income percentiles. The data are from the American Veterinary Medical Association's (AVMA) Biennial Economic Survey of 2011.
