COE Standards Revisions Approved

Changes to COE Standards 6 and 9 were finalized in September 2017 after input from academia, private practitioners, and the public was considered. Click here to review a summary of that input and the resulting deliberations and decisions.

COE Positions Open in 2018

Three positions on the COE will be vacated in July 2018. The AVMA Council on Education Selection Committee is seeking applications to fill positions representing private food animal clinical practice, private clinical practice (no species designation), and members at large (all veterinarians who are AVMA members are eligible). Information and application materials are available with other AVMA Volunteer Opportunities on the AVMA website.  Applications are due Feb. 15, 2018.
