Academic Affairs Committee


 

Committee charge:

  • Address the demographic profile of young people and the long-range patterns of potential applicants to veterinary medicine.
  • Conduct an annual survey of applicants to veterinary medicine.
  • Prepare appropriate publications to serve as sources of information for potential applicants to veterinary medicine.
  • Participate in appropriate conferences of pre-professional advisors.
  • Organize appropriate meetings of personnel involved in the admissions process in schools and colleges of veterinary medicine.
  • Review the pattern of attrition in the professional degree programs, if appropriate.
  • Make recommendation to the Comparative Data Committee regarding the nature of data collected.
  • Make recommendation to the Executive Committee for programs of activities which would address the problem of attrition.
